Role/Purpose: 

The Customer Success team at Roots Automation is seeking a project manager interested in helping customers successfully onboard and maintain Digital Coworkers. The ideal candidate is adept at driving digital strategy, guiding agile technology implementations, and collaborating with project teams.

As a startup, Roots Automation offers a fast-paced environment with ample growth and learning opportunities across multiple disciplines. This role will directly interact with customers (SMEs/Business Process Owners), Engineering (AI, Automation & Cloud), and Senior Management.

This role will develop process-specific automation solutions and play a key role in improving the as-a-service automation framework Roots provides our customers. 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Collaborate with engineering to groom backlog items and plan sprints
• Manage customer change requests and work with engineering on training, testing, and deploying digital coworker updates
• Facilitate agile delivery of key Roots products
• Working within project planning constraints
• Communicate project risks
• Provide inputs to the change control process

Qualifications:

• A strong understanding of automation technology and agile delivery methods
• Exceptional business analytical, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills 
• Ability to lead process observations and interviews with customers to understand and document business requirements
• Track record of following through on commitments
• Jira and Confluence experience are preferred
• 4 years of experience preferred
