About the Role

The Designer will be responsible for leading and evolving the visual identity of Roots Automation, ensuring brand consistency across all channels, and creating impactful designs that communicate our vision. This role is crucial in enhancing our brand’s visual representation, shaping our digital and physical presence, and supporting all departments across the organization. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including our founders, product, sales, and marketing teams, while managing external agencies and freelancers to ensure design and branding excellence.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with extensive experience in graphic design and digital media. You are both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to drive brand evolution while ensuring day-to-day design needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities include:

·       Lead the creative development of our brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and innovation across all touchpoints.

·       Evolve the brand’s design language to reflect the company's growth and positioning in the InsurTech and AI sectors.

·       Act as the brand guardian, ensuring brand consistency across all departments and projects and that all collateral is designed with the brand’s identity and positioning in mind.

·       Manage external creative agencies and freelance designers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

·       Oversee the design and maintenance of all visual assets across sales, marketing, product – including pitch material, sell-sheets, whitepapers, product collateral

·       Design visually compelling web pages, email templates, social media graphics, and digital advertisements to support marketing campaigns.

·       Design graphics for events, including booth setups, banners, swag, and other promotional assets.

·       Develop animated and live-action video content to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and company announcements.

Requirements

·       5+ years of experience in brand management and design, preferably within a B2B or SaaS company.

·       Strong proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and video editing tools.

·       Proven experience in web design, with a portfolio that showcases websites, digital campaigns, and social media content.

·       Experience in video production, including animation and live-action video creation.

·       Demonstrable success in managing brand evolution and maintaining visual consistency across a variety of platforms.

·       Experience with developing sales collateral

·       Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

·       Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including agencies and freelancers.

·       Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity and innovation.

·       A self-starter with the ability to work both strategically and tactically.

·       Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
